SSV SoCal Fall 2016 Championship

Serve, Stroke & Volley SoCal Fall 2016 Championship

Serve, Stroke & Volley (SSV), one of the fastest growing youth tennis programs in Southern California, held it’s 2nd SoCal Championship Play-Offs at Rancho San Clemente Tennis Club in Orange County, California on Saturday, January 14.

Over 50 juniors from LA, OC and San Diego represented their districts in the event.  After every 3-month season, juniors who have placed highest in their district Grand Prix come to play this invitation-only event.

Matched by SSV Levels of Play, kids competed for the biggest prize SSV offers.  SSV Levels of Play are determined by the SSV Rating Test, a 10-minute on-court assessment of a junior’s tennis ability.  Juniors get a rating between 0-200 and are matched up within 10 points of each other for good competition.

SSV Grand Prix is a series of Round Robin tournaments for juniors at all stages of tennis development.  SSV events provide multiple matches for juniors, not single-elimination.

New this year, The SSV Cup is a new program that allows juniors to compete in singles and doubles in a Davis Cup-like fashion.

Pros and parents have commented very favorably at the increased focus and rate of improvement experienced by their youngsters because of SSV competition.
