At the ITF Pro Circuit $60,000 event in Burnie, Australia, Asia Muhammed (Long Beach, CA), claimed victory over Australian Arina Rodionov, a dominant 6-2, 6-1 performance. Muhammed now ranks at #138 in world rankings.
In Dallas, world #83 Taylor Fritz, above, reached the final of the USTA Pro Circuit / ATP $125,000 Challenger, where fellow countryman Ryan Harrison prevailed, 6-3, 6-3.
At the Pro Circuit in Midland, MI, world #103 Julia Boserup (Newport Beach, CA) reached the semifinals, while Kayla Day (Santa Barbara, CA) earned a quarterfinal berth and excelled to the Doubles final with Caroline Dolehide, upsetting the top seed in the first round and ultimately falling to the second seeded American team of Weinhold/Whoriskey.
