Daniel Kosakowski, Billy Rowe, Joshua Ortlip and Warren Wood all won quarterfinal matches in the Men’s Open Singles division on Friday at the 131st Annual Southern California Open Sectionals taking place at the Lakewood Tennis Center.
In the Women’s Open final, it will be Kelly Chen of Cerritos taking on San Diego’s Jwany Sherif in the Saturday final slated for 11:30 a.m.
In the Father-Son Doubles final, it will be top-seeded Peter and Colter Smith facing No. 2 Ryan and Scott Brown in the Saturday noon final. The Browns beat the pairing of Rudy and Jonathan Sanchez, 7-5, 7-5, while the Smith’s took out Sean and Wade Murphy, 6-2, 6-2.
