TGA And Braemar Host Novice Level 7 Orange Ball Tournament


SCTA/TGA Premier Tennis and Braemar Country Club Host Winter Break Novice Level 7 Orange Ball Tournament

On Friday, December 22, the Southern California Tennis Association’s TGA Premier Tennis program, along with Braemar Country Club in Tarzana, hosted 26 girls and boys for the one day tournament.

The 10 and under players each earned 4 participation stars and vied for Player Progression stars as they move along the player pathway to green dot ball competition. While players waited for their timed match flights, TGA coaches worked them out on a drill court. Nancy Abrams, the SCTA/TGA Premier Tennis program manager spoke to parents prior to the start of play about sportsmanship (for players and parents!), Youth Progression and Junior Team Tennis opportunities in the area. Nancy, along with Susan Pendo, Director of Tennis at Braemar Country Club, look forward to hosting additional Level 7 and Level 6 tournaments, along with Early Development Camps (EDC), in 2018.
