The Professional Tennis Registry is offering many specialized workshops to fit the needs of teaching professionals this spring in Southern California. The Indian Wells Tennis Coaches Summit hosted by the PTR is a three day event from March 5 to 8 at the Lakes Country Club offering outstanding speakers and specialty courses. Fees for PTR Members are $199, non-members are $250. Registration is still open at https://fs10.formsite.com/ptrtennis/form53/index.html.

• Match Analysis & Tennis Analytics Course is on Monday, March 5, from 2am to Noon at the Lakes Country Club in Palm Desert with Instructor Oivind Sorvald. Content includes “Why and how to use technology”, “What do you need as a coach?”, “How to communicate with your players” and much more. The fee is $97 for members.
• The Girls Tennis Network (GTN) will be held on Monday, March 5, from 12:30 to 4pm conducted by Tom Ruth. The fee is $97 for members.
• The PTR WTCA Tennis Coaches Summit offers various presentations on Tuesday, March 6, and Wednesday, March 7 from 9am to 3:30pm followed by a “Behind the Scenes Tour at Indian Wells Tennis Garden.” Speakers include Debbie Graham, Michael Joyce, Melanie Oudin, Dean Hollingworth, Chanda Rubin, Oivind Sorvald, Emma Doyle, Frank Giampaolo, Dr. Michelle Cleere, Dr. Rick Lehman, Dr. Erin Boynton, Agustin Morero, Angelica Gavaldron and Marianne Werdel.
• USTA Net Generation Workshop is on Thursday, March 8, from Noon to 4pm at the conference. This is a free event.

An additional PTR Course for an 11 to 17 Certification will be held on June 2 and 3 at Pomona Pitzer College in Claremont. Instructional content includes communication and organization, lesson structure and content, developing coaching skills, conducting camps, communication with parents, appropriate competition for singles doubles and team formats. Fees are $127 for 8 or more days prior to the start date. $152 for 7 or fewer days prior to the start date.
