The South Bay Hosting Two Big Events In December

The South Bay will be the place to be as two big events will take place there during the month of December. On Saturday, Dec. 8, First Break Academy will once again host the LA Tennis Bash 2018 with all the proceeds going to the non-profit’s tennis, learning, and multisport scholarship programs.

Special guests will include tennis legends Pam Shriver, Tracy Austin, Lindsay Davenport, as well as current ATP and WTA stars like Sam Querrey, Steve Johnson, Nicole Gibbs, Shelby Rogers, and many more.

Event Check-In begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Manhattan Country Club and the schedule of events is as follows:

9am to 10am – Top Flight Live Ball (Limited Space)
10am to 12pm – Live Ball with ATP, WTA, and Elite Coaches
12pm to 1pm – Lunch presented by The Bay Club

First Break is located at StubHub Center in Carson, home of USTA Training Center- West, LA Galaxy & Los Angeles Chargers

If you’ve ever wanted the chance to compete against the best in the world, then you need to check out California Championships Presented by UTR and hosted by the Jack Kramer Club in Rancho Palos Verdes Dec. 15-22. The event is a Men’s Open event offering $30,000 in total prize money. All ages and levels are welcome. There will be a staggered entry draw of 512 players based on UTR. Registration deadline is Dec. 6. Top pros competing include Querrey, Johnson, Ernesto Escobedo and Jared Donaldson, just to name a few.
