USTA Southern California hosted more than 50 players in January for a glowing tennis experience in the dark.
The “Glowball” event was organized to serve the 18-39 age group with a one-night glow in the dark tennis party under black lights – with music, food and beverages, and plenty of time for mingling at Griffin Club in West LA.
Florida-based XGLOsive used black tarps, neon designs, and light-up court equipment to transform two tennis courts into a completely immersive glow in the dark tennis experience. XGLOsive founder Jason Cordova has done this plenty of times before back on his side of the country, but this was the first time bringing the event to the West Coast.
Each player received a gift bag at check-in, which contained glow sticks, USTA branded merchandise, grips, and a 15% off Wilson discount code for participating.
