The SoCal Teams for the National Women’s Intersectional Team Championship have been chosen!
The teams will travel to Naples, FL to compete in one of the USTA’s most prestigious events of the year. Each year, the USTA’s 17 sections draft age division teams to battle for the honor of being the Women’s Intersectional Champions. The event drawsers in former professional players, current and former ITF World Champions and competitors, and other skilled players from all over the country. Last year, Southern California won gold in four of the six divisions and the teams are looking forward to defending their titles.

Roz King, 80’s Team Captain: “Our team is excited with two new members, Dale Francis and Phyllis Cornish, who will experience this event for the first time. We will be defending our two year winning record. Dori Devries, Sheila Palmer and I are veteran players and look forward to mentoring our new teammates.”
