There’s a home for every tennis player at the college level, but finding the right fit can be a challenge. That’s why USTA Southern California hosts “College Knowledge” sessions throughout the year, featuring college coaches and staff who offer first-hand advice and guidance for parents and players alike.
Hear from some of SoCal’s NCAA coaches, as well as Community college programs and USTA Tennis On Campus club sports. Find out what coaches look for in players, how to navigate recruitment, the role of a parent, and what priorities should guide the selection process. Plus, learn how a student-athlete’s experience can be enhanced by team competition at the college level, along with much more!
College Knowledge is headed next to San Diego on Saturday, February 19 at 3:00pm as part of this year’s Tennis On Campus Sectional Championships. Guests will include Peter Mattera, Women’s Head Tennis Coach San Diego State University, and Ryan Keckley, Men’s Head Tennis Coach from the University of San Diego.
