USTA Foundation supports SoCal NJTL chapters with grant awards

The USTA Foundation, the charitable arm of the United States Tennis Association, has awarded grants totaling nearly $3 million to 155 National Junior Tennis & Learning chapters (NJTL) nationwide, including 14 programs located right here in Southern California.

The grants are designated to support under-resourced youth through tennis and education programs designed to improve health, build character and strive for academic excellence. These grants, targeted toward community programs designated by the NJTL chapters, are anticipated to support more than 93,000 youth participants at the selected chapters. In total, these chapters will offer more than 68,000 hours of education across the country and 122,000 hours of tennis activities, including the creation and expansion of after-school and summer camp programs.
