Adult Tennis – 2017 League Regulations
Each year the USTA and SCTA update the regulations that will apply for the upcoming League season. The USTA regulations govern all play with each section being permitted to adapt specific areas to section needs. The USTA Regulations may be found at http://www.usta.com/leagues.
The SCTA Section Regulations may be found at http://socaladulttennis.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/2017-SLR_SCTA-League-Regulations.pdf
Specific changes are provided at the beginning of the document. A significant change has been made to the Dynamic Rating process that is in place for all divisions of the Adult Leagues (18 & Over, 40 & Over, 55 & Over, 65 & Over). Self-Rated players will continue to be promoted immediately if they exceed their stated rating three times during the local league season. All match results will remain as played. For additional information concerning this and the new playoff/sectional structure please access the SCTA Section Regulations.
