Community Advocates Join Forces to Promote Tennis


On February 19, the Community Tennis and Advocacy Committee meeting & Diversity and Inclusion Committee came together at the Pacific Palms Conference Center to get the year started and hear what the SCTA has to offer and what the community advocates and CTA leaders are doing in their respective areas.   These are the committees that help with the Community Development Workshop that this year will be in November.  There were over 30 attendees with great discussions and great networking

Bruce Hunt, Executive Director  of the SCTA, started off the meeting with a “State of the USTA” review, followed by SCTA Staff Representatives from each department including Adult, Junior, Community and Marketing sharing what their respective departments are currently working on, and how they can support the efforts of the Community Tennis and Advocacy Committee & Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
