Juniors Compete in Close Championships Match. Team Bob defeats Team Mike 5-4 in Championship Finals. Coach Wayne Bryan Visits All Star League Finals.
It was fantastic finish to a very competitive season of All Star League Tennis. Good playoff matches were played at both Spanish Hills and Las Posas Country Clubs on the final day of the season followed by awards and pizza at Spanish Hills.
The juniors and parents were treated by a visit from world renowned coach Wayne Bryan as he ran some intense games for the kids, gave some very inspirational tips to both the juniors and parents and gave out and autographed his best selling tennis books to the parents along with signed Bryan Brothers posters to the juniors.
The Championship Match of the All Star League featured the top 8 boys and top 4 girls competing in “All Star” teams from the different teams. The finals was a close 5-4 win for Team Bob with a couple of the matches played very tight and could have gone either way. Hunter Leija and Tanner Honnef led Team Bob with wins in both singles and doubles while Harnoor Singh and Peyton Lynch both picked up singles wins. Lily Korzelius won both her singles and doubles matches for Team Mike.

Team Bob won the championship match. Babolat gave the team beautiful new backpacks along with strings and grips.

The 2018 Spring Season of the All Star League will start in April. The league will feature high school girls and well as other top junior players.
The All Star Tennis League is supported by Babolat and the Bryan Brothers Foundation and is a league giving ranked as well as up and coming junior players to play in a fun competitive team format of match play while getting on court coaching during matches. Coaches for the league are Mark McCampbell, Jennifer Brown, Val McKinney and Dave McKinney.
