Independence HS (Bakersfield) field trip to tour USC and watch USC vs Oregon (USC WON!)

Jeff Peterson, coach and Kinesiology department teacher, brought 26 high school kids to USC vs Oregon match.

Phil Siordia helped organize a school tour (focusing on Athletics/Tennis). Some of the players from the men’s team came out and took the kids on different legs of the tour. It was a great day out for them!

They were able to see the whole Athletic department facilities (Gym, hall of fame, etc) and even got an opportunity to go to a few places they individually wanted.

The Southern California Tennis Association is doing a training in Bakersfield for many of these Juniors in April.
