USTA National Committee Appointment Process Application Open Aug 1 through Sept 22
APPLY FOR A 2019-20 USTA NATIONAL COMMITTEE
WHAT IS A USTA NATIONAL COMMITTEE?
Tennis has passionate advocates who dedicate their time to growing and strengthening the sport. Some play and want to give back to a game that has given them so much; many hope to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
The USTA President appoints volunteers to national committees for a two-year term to help fulfill our mission to promote and develop the sport of tennis.
Committees address issues such as adult and junior competition, rules and regulations, and officials. Some serve as advisory groups on initiatives, such as sport science trends. Others provide service for and at USTA events such as league championships, junior tournaments and wheelchair tennis clinics.
All committees have a volunteer chair and a USTA staff member who coordinate committee communications and actions.
