USTA Southern California will host the first ever “Dynamic Duo” Level 3 junior tournament, December 15-16 in San Diego. The tournament will be held at both Barnes Tennis Center and San Diego State University.

Players will sign up for this tournament as a mixed doubles team. Each round will consist of one mixed doubles match, and two singles matches (one girls singles and one boys singles). Mixed doubles matches will have a short set format, while singles will be 2 out of 3 sets, with a 10-point tiebreak in lieu of a third set. No-ad scoring will be used throughout the entire event.

There will be a consolation draw, so every team is guaranteed at least two matches during this tournament. This will be a fun and fast-paced team event, where players will have the opportunity to play multiple matches, and cheer on their teammates.

The top sixteen players from each age division will be selected to participate. Selection will be based on the SoCal Standings list. Players must also sign up online individually in order to be considered for selection.
