On Thursday, September 13, the local Kiwanis Club of Santa Ana and First Serve Santa Ana hosted their annual Adaptive Tennis Play Day. Every year the two organizations partner together to provide the Santa Ana youth with an opportunity to engage in a lifelong sport that offers no barriers to participation. The event took place on the tennis courts of McFadden Intermediate School and over 200 kids were bused in from five various neighborhood schools in the area. In tandem, USTA Southern California hosted a Wheelchair demonstration, provided coaches & volunteers.
