In March, USTA Southern California hosted a Coaches Developmental Workshop at Mission Viejo’s Marguerite Tennis Pavilion for wheelchair tennis providers.

Led by instructor Jason Harnett (USTA National Manager and Team USA Wheelchair Tennis head coach), more than twenty coaches learned about wheelchair tennis history, disabilities, on-court mobility, and much more. Able-bodied coaches had the opportunity to sit in a tennis wheelchair and gain perspective on how players adapt and compete.
